Traditional BSN Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed to prepare you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to become a safe, competent, and compassionate nurse. This section will help you understand how the program is structured and what to expect as you move through each phase of your nursing education.

Course Registration & Required Courses

Once you’ve been admitted to the nursing program, you’ll be automatically assigned to all required nursing courses each semester. This ensures every student is registered for the courses they need to progress on time. There’s no need to build your own schedule from scratch.

Nursing Assignments

Every year, course assignments are provided by the Office of Student Services. You’ll receive registration instructions from Mackenzie Ware with your required course placements and registration details.

Academic Advising

Keep meeting with your advisor. You should continue meeting with your academic advisor each year to plan for general education, Honors courses, and any other degree requirements outside of nursing.
