Seat Acceptance & First Steps
Congratulations on your admission to the nursing program! Before you dive into course planning and onboarding, there are a few important steps to complete to officially secure your seat and get set up for success. Completing these tasks by the deadline is essential to progress with the onboarding process.
Complete Your Required Surveys
To confirm your place in the program and begin the onboarding process, you’ll need to complete three short surveys. These are essential to securing your seat and ensuring that we have the information needed to prepare for your clinical experiences. If you wish to decline your seat, please inform Denise Gross ([email protected]) in writing.

Important Policies for Progression
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
All corequisite courses must be completed with a C (2.0) or higher before the start of the program. If you do not meet the grade requirement, you will not be eligible to start with your admitted cohort. In certain cases, a seat may be deferred to the next available cohort if:
- Admission requirements were met at the time of application, and you were admitted to the program.
- You will complete a graded attempt of all required coursework before the start date of the cohort for which you applied.
- You ach ieve the minimum grade standard (C or higher) on that final attempt prior to the program start date.
- Important: A withdrawal (“W”) grade that cannot be retaken and completed before the cohort start date will result in forfeiture of any offered seat or removal from the applicant pool.
Any exceptions to this policy require advance approval by the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Committee (UAAC).
HEALTH COMPLIANCE
Successful completion of all health compliance requirements is mandatory for participation in courses and clinical experiences. Students who do not complete compliance by the deadline will forfeit their seat and must reapply for future admission.
