High School Academic Mentoring

This 1:1 program utilizes a framework centered around mentorship, skill development, and academic support, supporting 9th-12th grade students to be successful in high school and beyond. Students take interactive self-assessments to determine skills that will be worked on during their sessions.

Two hour-long sessions per week take place over the course of 12 weeks. Academic mentors work with students to schedule at times most convenient for them. Sessions can take place at any time during the school day or after school.

Academic mentors are highly trained in relationship-building, content areas, and mentoring practices. In addition to academic support in all subjects, mentors work with high schoolers in skill development and college and/or career readiness. Students work on leadership skills, resume building, interview skills, and more.
