K-12 Connect Homework Help Tutoring
K-12 Connect Homework Help tutoring is available for any student in grades K-12. *Volunteer tutors provide free virtual 1:1 homework support in a wide variety of subjects throughout the academic year. Students have the option of receiving one-time tutoring support or recurring, weekly sessions. Students and tutors will communicate to determine the day(s) and time(s) they will meet. Students MUST bring homework or content to work on to every tutoring session.

Connect With A Tutor
Step 1: Participation Form
Prior to tutoring, every student must have a new participation form on file. Select your preferred to form to complete.
Step 2: Create a Student Tutoring Account
K-12 Connect partners with tutoring platform LearnToBe to connect students with GVSU volunteer tutors. Every student must create an account on the platform. Once created, tutors will reach out to schedule a session if they are available.
Step 3: Join and Learn!
- Wait for a tutor to contact you and schedule a session.
- Join your session at the scheduled time through your Learn To Be dashboard.
- Get to you know your tutor and share items you need support in.
- Complete feedback at the end of the session.
