K-12 Connect Virtual Homework Help Tutoring

GVSU K-12 Connect Virtual Tutoring is available for any student in grades K-12. Volunteer *tutors provide virtual 1:1 homework support in various subjects throughout the academic year. Whether you are looking for a one-time appointment or recurring, weekly sessions, GVSU K-12 Connect can accommodate any student's tutoring needs.

Note: Students must bring homework or content to work on to every tutoring session.

*Tutors are not guaranteed and are available on a first come, first served basis.  

Free Homework Help Tutoring begins October 4, 2021.  Families can create their profiles anytime.

Connect With A Tutor

Step 1: Participation Form

Prior to tutoring, every student must have a new 2021/22 Participation Form on file. Click to complete.

Step 2: Create a Student Tutoring Account

K-12 Connect has partnered with Learn To Be, a tutoring platform to connect students with GVSU tutors. Every student must create an account on LearnToBe. Tutors will reach out to schedule a session if they are available.


Step 3: Join and Learn

  1. Wait for a tutor to contact you and schedule a session. 
  2. Join your session at the scheduled time through your Learn To Be dashboard.
  3. Get to you know your tutor and share items you need support in.
  4. Complete feedback at the end of the session.
