K-12 Boost Tutoring

Available to districts as a collaborative partnership opportunity, K-12 Boost is a tutoring contracted service that schools can implement for their students. Formerly known as Homework Help Plus, the K-12 Boost program currently offers both 1:1 and 2:1 tutoring in all subject areas and grade levels. See below for details on each service.

K-12 Boost 1:1 Tutoring

In K-12 Boost 1:1 tutoring, students are paired with tutors to receive academic support.

Supports Tier 2 and Tier 3 Students

K-12 Boost 1:1 tutoring supports MTSS Tier 2 and Tier 3 students through personalized homework help.

3 Sessions Per Week, 45 Minutes Each

1:1 tutoring has a structure of three sessions per week, with each session 45 minutes in length. Schools will decide what time these sessions will take place and what days of the week. Tutoring can take place any time during the school day or after school.

All Subjects, Grades K-12

K-12 Boost tutoring can support any subject and student grade level.

Tailored Curriculum

Curriculum is tailored to each school. We can integrate with your existing curriculum or you can choose from a menu of vetted curriculums. Tutors will be trained to utilize the curriculum to best support students.

Secondary Education

In secondary education partnerships, such as credit recovery programs, we are open to co-designing a more unique program that best suits secondary education students. Tutors can serve as an academic coach/mentor for high school students as they move towards graduation. High schools students can have the option to sign up for a cohort where they can receive not just homework help but also time management techniques, studying strategies, test preparation, and other relevant future learning support.

K-12 Boost 2:1 Tutoring

Supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 Students

K-12 Boost 2:1 tutoring supports MTSS Tier 1 and Tier 2 students. In this design, two students with similar academic needs are placed with one tutor to receive focused homework help. This 2:1 environment helps strengthen learning and problem solving in students as they boost their academic success.

2 Sessions Per Week, 60 Minutes Each

2:1 tutoring has a structure of two sessions per week, with each session 60 minutes in length.
