Title IX Coordinator Notice

Dear Students and Colleagues,
I am pleased to report GVSU’s Title IX Coordinator, Dr. Kevin Carmody, will return from medical leave to resume his duties on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024. I want to thank Dr. Kathleen VanderVeen for serving as our Acting Title IX Coordinator in Dr. Carmody's absence. Her assumption of the position on an interim basis in addition to her responsibilities as Associate Vice President and Chief Deputy Inclusion and Equity provided uninterrupted leadership for our Title IX office.
Title IX requires the university to provide timely notifications to the campus community of any changes to our Title IX Coordinator position. This email fulfills that notice requirement.
