SAIL: Discovering Your True Colors

Discovering Your True Colors

Monday, March 11
4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Kirkhof Center 2215/2216

In this workshop, participants will gain insights into their unique leadership styles and learn how to effectively collaborate with others through the True Colors Assessment. This workshop is intended for students who are both new to True Colors, and for students who have taken the True Colors assessment in the past.

Participants will begin the workshop by taking the True Colors Assessment, a fun and insightful tool that categorizes individuals into different personality types represented by colors - Gold, Blue, Green, and Orange. This assessment serves as the foundation for understanding one's natural leadership tendencies. Explore how your dominant color influences your leadership and communication styles!

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the strengths and characteristics associated with each True Colors personality type. With an emphasis on collaboration, participants will engage in conversation and activities that challenge them to leverage their True Colors strengths while considering the needs and strengths of others.

By identifying areas for growth and leveraging your True Colors strengths, you will leave this workshop equipped to navigate various leadership challenges and empower others to lead with their "True Colors!" This workshop is facilitated by Abby Sachs, Program Manager for the Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy at GVSU.

Thank you for your interest in Students Aspiring in Leadership (SAIL). Unfortunately, the registration for this session has ended, but please be sure to check out all other sessions on our Leadership Development website.
