We have openings in Grand Rapids, Detroit, Southwest Michigan, and Northern Michigan.

The Best Day Details internship is a full experience wedding coordination internship in which participants will be able to confidently run a wedding day from start to finish by the completion of the internship.

Tasks that interns will be responsible for on a wedding day can include:

Set up and tear down of wedding decor items
Ensuring all final details for room layout and guest counts are correct
Communicating wedding details with vendors and wedding party
Cuing ceremony and reception events
Handling emergencies dealing with high stress situations
Delivering food/drinks to the couple
Cleaning up trash or leftover food items
Managing timeline items

Opportunities that interns can participate in outside of wedding day hours can include:

Shadowing ceremony rehearsals
Shadowing client meetings
Completing a wedding business digital course

This internship will include paid work for the agreed upon amount of weddings for the season. Pay is minimum wage hourly.

Qualifications

Must be able to stand for up to 16 hours.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Must be available most Saturdays within desired working period.

Must be interested in the wedding/event field.
