Project Donation

During move-out, many useable items are thrown out, sometimes because students no longer have a need for them, or perhaps they just don't want the hassle of hauling them home.

Instead of throwing them in the dumpster, take advantage of Project Donation. It is an easy way to donate to local charities in the Grand Rapids Area and the GVSU Women's Center Pantry. Beginning Monday April 15th through Friday April 26th, you will see white boxes in your lobby for these donations. Many items will be accepted including: non-perishable food items, clothing, household items such as pots and pans, bedding, fans, and even furniture!

The last five years of the program, students have been very generous and the non-profit organizations have been very grateful. So do something good for you, and great for our communities, DONATE it instead of throwing it away - it's easy!

**We're only taking items in good condition. This is not a service to dump everyone's worn out junk into. There will be dumpsters on campus to throw out garbage during move-out week.

**Faculty and staff members who are doing any spring cleaning are also invited to use this opportunity to donate to the GV Community.
