Description
Flint’s water crisis made national headlines, galvanizing important conversations about the future of public health in the city. With a commitment to Flint that began early in adolescence, Dr. Debra Furr-Holden works with grassroots partners to advance the public health status of the community.
Dr. Furr-Holden is the C.S. Mott Endowed Professor of Public Health at Michigan State University, where she is also Interim Director of the Division of Public Health and Director of the Flint Center for Health Equity Solutions. Her work in Flint focuses on structural and policy interventions to improve public health for the city’s residents.
Join us as Dr. Furr-Holden shares her personal and professional leadership lessons with our Cook Leadership Academy Fellows and our community.
