Mantella joins board for Business-Higher Education Forum

The Business-Higher Education Forum, a nationwide network of senior business and university executives, has announced the appointment of President Philomena V. Mantella to its board of directors. 

The 15 members of the board guide the organization in its mission to strengthen America’s talent pipelines, accelerate innovation, ensure U.S. competitiveness and enhance economic mobility for people.

“The Business-Higher Education Forum is playing a key role in furthering the innovative partnerships that will fuel future economic growth and is a great resource for GVSU based on our long history of leadership in this area," Mantella said. "I’m honored to join their board of directors and look forward to fostering future innovation around this crucial work.”

The organization said Mantella and her fellow board appointees for 2025-2026 are "four distinguished leaders who bring deep expertise in human capital and workforce innovation, technology and higher education."

Board members provide key leadership in the organization's work advancing the cross-sector partnerships that are central to preparing students for the future workforce and addressing talent challenges.
