Here are some favorite photos from June
Two healthy peregrine falcon chicks were banded by Department of
Natural Resources wildlife biologists June 7 on the roof of the Eberhard
Center on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus.

A falcon mother was appropriately protective and aggressive as she
soared and swooped near her nesting box and constantly vocalized her
unhappiness while DNR wildlife biologists calmly worked with her chicks,
who were born in mid May.

On June 5, 2022, Cameron Blake played a full classical violin recital
for the first time in 15 years. The recital was a celebration of
recovery and growth after healing from the trauma of an abusive violin
teacher.
