Your vaccine information is needed. GVSU is closing the gap on missing information, but if you still have not reported your status on your online self-assessment , take action now.

Your efforts during the opening weeks of the semester have helped to keep COVID numbers relatively low in the GVSU community. Faculty, staff and students have done a great job following the Face Coverings Policy and safety plan.

At the same time, the number of COVID cases in our surrounding communities continues to increase. Community spread is one of the factors Grand Valley considers when determining campus alert levels, which provide specific guidance for university operations. We remain at Alert Level 2, which means face coverings are required in all indoor spaces.

Important Reminders:

  • The deadline for the COVID vaccine requirement is September 30. Upload verification in your online self-assessment as soon as possible.
  • All members of the GVSU community must fill out the online self-assessment each day when on campus. Please update your self-assessment with current information (address, phone number, email).
  • Face coverings that cover the mouth and nose are required in all indoor spaces for students, faculty, staff and visitors. See the full policy for limited exceptions. The need to mask is based on our university alert level system
