Photos: Explore parks and trails near GVSU

A short bus ride from Grand Valley’s Allendale Campus and you find yourself in Grand Rapids, with city life experiences aplenty. The lesser-known gems are the parks, trails and nature areas that are also a short drive, bike ride or even walk from campus.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet, outdoor place to study, or a Saturday hiking adventure, you don’t have to go far from GVSU to find picturesque nature and outdoor activities.

Recreation and Wellness, within GVSU’s Division of Student Affairs, has developed a webpage dedicated to outdoor adventure that includes maps and safety resources.

See more photos of local trails, parks and nature areas from GVSU photographers on Exposure.
