Monthly siren testing begins April 5

Grand Valley's Allendale Campus and all communities within Ottawa County will conduct monthly testing of the outdoor tornado warning siren system April 5 at noon. The test will include a tone that will last several minutes. 

Members of the Grand Valley community should be aware of safe areas on campus in the event of an actual weather emergency. Safety areas are identified on signs located in the interior hallways on the lowest floor of all buildings on campus.

Monthly testing occurs on the first Friday of each month April-November. The next scheduled test will take place May 3.
