Hauenstein Center to host experts on George Marshall, Arthur Vandenberg

Grand Valley's Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies will host authors David Roll and Hank Meijer for a discussion about two leaders who were fundamental to the implementation of the Marshall Plan in post-WW II Europe. 

Roll is the author of George C. Marshall: Defender of the Republic, and Meijer is the author of Arthur Vandenberg: The Man in the Middle of the American Century.

Roll and Meijer will discuss the unique relationship between Gen. Marshall and Sen. Vandenberg, who served in the Senate from 1928 until 1951.
