The Grand Valley State University Board of Trustees has scheduled a special meeting on Tuesday, January 22, at 11 a.m. in the Grand River Room in the Kirkhof Center on the Allendale Campus. The agenda for the meeting is the nomination and election of the university's next president, who will take office on July 1, following the retirement of President Thomas J. Haas.

The Board meeting will be streamed live for those wishing to view the proceedings. Click on www.gvsu.edu/livestream.

The Board of Trustees is grateful to the Presidential Search Advisory Committee and the many individuals whose assistance and interest brought us to this day. The Board is especially grateful to President Haas, who has ably led the university during the past 13 years and made it a remarkable institution for our next president to lead into the future.
