Free, confidential screenings on National Depression Screening Day

The Counseling Center will participate in National Depression Screening Day October 3, by offering brief, confidential screenings on the Allendale and Grand Rapids campuses.

Students, faculty and staff members will have the opportunity to meet with a counselor to discuss results of their screening. Information will be available to recognize the signs and symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders. 

The free screenings will take place at the following times and locations:

Allendale Campus

• Kirkhof Center lobby, 10 a.m.-noon and 2-6 p.m.

• Campus Recreation Center, 2-6 p.m.

Pew Grand Rapids Campus

• DeVos Center, Building C Study Area, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

• Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences, lobby, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
