Grand Valley's United Way campaign kicked off October 1 and runs through October 12.

The campaign is an opportunity for all faculty and staff to consider a contribution to the United Way, which supports various nonprofit organizations and facilities throughout West Michigan.

This year, faculty and staff members will be able to complete their pledge to the United Way online rather than on a paper form as was the case in the past. Gifts can be made by clicking on the "Give Here" button at the website, gvsu.edu/unitedway .

The online giving process is fast and simple; employees only need to sign in with their GVSU username and password, and follow the instructions.

All faculty and staff members who consider a pledge and make a response of any kind before the end of the campaign will be entered in a drawing to win two tickets to the WGVU "Food, Wine, and All That Jazz" event on October 26.

Responses via paper form will also be accepted.

Contact your campaign captain with any questions, or visit gvsu.edu/unitedway.
