T-Haas welcomes students at orientation

A special guest made a surprise stop at an orientation day in June to welcome new students to the Laker community. 

President Thomas J. Haas visited the Laker Resource Fair — the first event of the day — to visit with students and family members and interview a few students to get to know them better.

From May-August, thousands of new students will attend orientation on the Allendale Campus. Lakers will prepare for the fall semester by registering for classes, learning about campus resources and meeting Grand Valley students, faculty and staff members.
