Fall move-in parking access restrictions announced

Fall 2018 move-in begins on Saturday, August 18, and that process means several parking lots and roads on campus will have limited access starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 17.

GVPD and Parking Services ask that if you use one of the restricted areas listed below, make arrangements to move your vehicle no later than 6 p.m. on August 17.

NORTH CAMPUS:

     - Lot C and C West: Closed August 18-22

     - Lot D: No access 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 18-22

     - North Housing: Limited vehicle access August 19-22, and all designated parking areas, including meters, service vehicle, and faculty/staff are closed

     - At peak move-in hours, traffic will be slow or stopped on North Campus Drive/West Ravine Center Drive; West Ravine Center Drive to Laker Village Drive; and North Campus Drive/Residence Drive

     - Normal access will resume on August 22 at 5 p.m.

SOUTH CAMPUS:

     - Lot M: Partially closed August 18-20, limited vehicle traffic

     - Lot N: Closed August 20

     - Calder Drive: Limited vehicle access between South Campus Drive/Calder Art Center on August 20

     - South Campus Drive/Calder Drive: One-way northbound traffic only on August 20

     - South Campus Drive/Calder Drive: Slow or stopped traffic on August 22

     - Normal access resumes August 20 at 5 p.m.

Be aware that traffic not involved in the move-in process will not be allowed to access restricted areas between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. from August 18-22.
