Staff members who fancy themselves grill masters will kickoff the 11th season of Grand Valley's Farmers Market on Wednesday, June 7.

The market will run each Wednesday through October 11 from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Lot G on the Allendale Campus.

Participating in the Summer Grill Challenge, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., are Andy Beachnau, associate vice provost and director of housing and health services, and staff members from Public Safety and Facilities Services.

Cost for lunch is $7 to try grill challenge samples and vote for a favorite. Proceeds will be donated to Replenish, the student food pantry, and the Children’s Enrichment Center.

Three new vendors join the farmers market: Brewt’s Bloody Mary, Full Circle Coffee and Uncle Jim’s Jerky.
