Parking changes for Sept. 1 football game

The Laker football team will take on Tiffin University in a home opener September 1 at 7 p.m. in Lubbers Stadium. Some parking changes will be made September 1 only, to accommodate an expected increase in the amount of traffic.

Individuals who need to come to Allendale for afternoon and evening activities are encouraged to park at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus or the Standale Meijer, and ride the Campus Connector (Route 50 bus) to the Allendale Campus.

Parking changes for September 1:

• Lot C East, Lot B, and Lot F will be available until noon. Lot C West and Lot E will be closed all day.

• Lots D1-D3 will be available throughout the day. A faculty/staff parking pass must be visible to enter Lots D1-D3 for free. At 4 p.m. these areas will become a paid lot, but those with a faculty/staff pass will be allowed to enter for free if spots remain available.

• Lot G will be available until 4 p.m. At 4 p.m. Lot G will become $5 paid parking only.

• Lot H will remain open for faculty/staff/students throughout the day for free.

• If all lots are full, park in Lot J or the Meadows Golf Practice Academy. Both of these lots will have shuttles to Kirkhof Center.
