The urban Native American exhibition sponsored by the Kutsche Office of Local History is now on display at the Grand Rapids Public Library, 111 Library St. NE.

“Walking Beyond Our Ancestors’ Footsteps: An Urban Native Experience" will be on display through January 24 on the fourth floor of the library, in the local history department. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Part of the Gi-gikinomaage-min (We are all teachers) Project, the exhibit is part of a series exploring the experiences of Native Americans in Grand Rapids in the 20th and 21st centuries. It was displayed at the Mary Idema Pew Library in November.
