Hauenstein Center hosts best-selling author on Reagan

The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley will host H.W. Brands, a New York Times best-selling author as he discusses the life of one of America's most notable presidents, Ronald Reagan.

Brands, whose expertise and depth of understanding has led him to be consulted about presidents and politics by media outlets across the nation, will present a never before seen picture of Reagan's life from humble beginnings in Illinois to power in the Oval Office. 

Brands' presentation will be based on archival sources not available to previous biographers which provide rich detail and and a fascinating narrative of Reagan's presidency, which still has an impact on American politics today.
