Student leaders will be recognized and celebrated during Campus Leadership Week, January 12-16. 

Hosted by the Office of Student Life and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, students are invited to participate in a variety of events and activities that represent the Five Phases of Campus Life: scholarship, athletics, community service, journalism/speech/mass media and performing arts. 

Highlighted events are described below; all events can be found at www.gvsu.edu/leadership.

  • Leadership University Information Night: January 13, 6-7:30 p.m., room 2259, Kirkhof Center

Learn about Leadership University, a student-driven program designed to highlight unique leadership development journeys. 

  • “I Am Grand Valley” Leadership Reception: January 14, 2:30-4 p.m., Grand River Room, Kirkhof Center

The annual event will celebrate the hundreds of students who received an “I am Grand Valley” award during the fall semester. 

  • Resume Workshop: January 15, 1-2 p.m., room 206, Student Services Building

Students will learn how to develop and polish their resumes. The workshop is presented by the Career Center. 

  • Campus Life Night 2.0: January 16, 7-9 p.m., Kirkhof Center
