A weeklong festival that celebrates cultures and inclusion is marking 10 years as a campus tradition.

Many events are planned for Intercultural Festival, which will take place from March 15-21 on the Allendale Campus.

The festival, organized by the Laker Traditions Team in the Office of Student Life, will feature food, music, dance and displays from a variety of cultures including Dutch, Muslim and Spanish.

Intercultural Festival has been a Grand Valley tradition since 2005, but has roots dating back to the first class of Grand Valley State College in 1963.
