Grand Valley mourns death of faculty member

The Grand Valley community is mourning the death of Thomas Wolterink, a longtime faculty member in the Seidman College of Business, who died April 25 of metastatic melanoma. He was 74.

Wolterink came to Grand Valley in 1992 to teach management and become a tenure-track faculty member in 2001; he retired from the university in 2007.

A Celebration of Life Service was held April 28 at Christ Memorial Church in Holland. Memorial contributions can be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in Washington, D.C.
