Grand Valley Journal of History seeking student research

The Grand Valley Journal of History is seeking student submissions of undergraduate research for the fall semester.

Established in 2011, the Grand Valley Journal of History is a student-run publication that provides undergraduate students an opportunity to share their historical research from any subject or discipline through a peer-reviewed forum.

“It is rare for a journal to allow submissions by undergraduate students,” said Jacob Van Singel, member of the Grand Valley Journal of History editorial board. “This unique opportunity to undergo the review and revision process can be a great chance for students to get acquainted with professional interactions and publication of scholarly works.”

Students are encouraged to submit their work to the Grand Valley Journal of History by November 2 in order to be published this semester.

The Grand Valley Journal of History is a part of the university’s open-access scholarship repository, ScholarWorks@GVSU. Since the inception of the journal, papers in the Grand Valley Journal of History collection have been downloaded more than 28,000 times.
