The 37th season of Grand Valley’s Arts at Noon series continues Wednesday, March 25, with a performance by the GVSU Early Music Ensemble.

Since 2003, the GVSU Early Music Ensemble has been dedicated to performing pre-classical musical selections while utilizing period instruments and historical performance practices. Grand Valley faculty as well as nationally and internationally renowned guest artists often join the group for select performances.

Pablo Manhave-Veglia, Early Music Ensemble director and associate professor of music, will join the students during this Arts at Noon performance.

During the group’s history, students have been featured during Grand Valley theater productions, the Grand Rapids Bach Festival and the Feeding the Soul of the City series in Muskegon.

All Arts at Noon concerts take place in the Cook-DeWitt Center, begin at noon, and last approximately one hour. The concerts are free and open to the public.
