Registration open for statewide leadership summit

Students across the state can register for the 17th annual Leadership Summit February 22 at Grand Valley.

The student-run campus tradition will provide leadership development opportunities for undergraduate students in aspects of student life and leadership. 

Students can choose from more than 30 workshops and enter a leadership case study competition sponsored by Omicron Delta Kappa.

Chad Pregracke, an activist leading a movement for clean rivers, will give the keynote address. Author of “From the Bottom Up,” Pregracke was named a “Top 10 Hero” by CNN in 2013, and since 1998, has led 70,000 volunteers to remove more than seven million pounds of garbage from 23 rivers across the country. He is founder of Living Lands and Waters. 

Registration is $20 for Grand Valley students and $30 for students from other colleges and universities; the summit includes dinner.
