Men's lacrosse wins national championship

Grand Valley’s men’s club lacrosse team won the Division II Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association National Championship May 17.

The team beat St. John’s University, 12-11, at the tournament in Orange County, California.

Grand Valley student and team member Charlie Farmer received the 2014 MCLA Godekeraw Award, the highest MCLA honor that is given to a player who represents overall performance on the field, in academia, and in the community.
