GM reps tour Allendale Campus

Representatives from General Motors in Detroit met with staff
members from Facilities Services October 3, to learn about facilities
work processes and tour campus.
The group members from General Motors included, Tammy Golden,
director of Global Facilities; Robert Allen, senior manager of
Facility Operations; Lary Bannasch, manager of Global Facilities; and
Pat Griffin, purchasing manager of machinery and equipment.
Tim Thimmesch, associate vice president for Facilities Services
at Grand Valley, led a group discussion about safety management,
procurement services, energy management and housekeeping services.
The group then toured the Allendale Campus including the Mary
Idema Pew Library, maintenance areas and Zumberge Hall.
