While teaching abroad on a Fulbright Scholar award, a faculty member has shared an American holiday tradition with his international students and colleagues.

Charles Baker-Clark, associate professor of hospitality and tourism management, and his wife, Susan, are in Montenegro for the academic year.

He said they gave presentations about American traditions centered on baking and sharing Christmas cookies at the American Corner in Podgorica and the American Reading Room in Cetinje.

Next month, Baker-Clark plans a presentation on food and freedom in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
