Films series focuses on social factors of health care

The Counseling Center will host the seven-part documentary series “UnNatural Causes” every Thursday, starting September 25 at 6 p.m. in room 2201, Kirkhof Center.

The four-hour series, first broadcast on PBS in 2008, explores the effects of social factors on health and health care in the U.S. It focuses on race, socioeconomic standing, geography and gender. A discussion led by faculty members will follow each segment. 

The second segment of the series will be shown October 2 at 6 p.m. in room 2215, Kirkhof Center.
