A week of events at Grand Valley will serve as a spring kick-off
and celebrate graduating students.
ExtravaGRANDza will take place April 7-11 on the Allendale
Campus.
“We want to celebrate what a great school year we’ve had and
congratulate our graduating seniors,” said Courtney Sutliff, Laker
Traditions coordinator of ExtravaGRANDza. “We hope this event will
grow and become a reoccurring spring celebration on campus.”
Events are highlighted below.
Banner signing, Monday, April 7, 9-5 p.m.: Graduating
students are invited to sign a banner in the Kirkhof Center lobby. It
will be displayed on campus.
Drive-in movie, Monday, April 7, 8 p.m.: Students are
invited to watch a movie outside in parking lot H. Pizza and popcorn
will be provided.
Last Tour, Tuesday April 8, noon-5 p.m.: Graduating
students, who have a wristband,
are invited on a tour of campus to visit spots they may not have
visited during their time at Grand Valley. Prizes will be given out at
locations during the self-guided tour.
