Diverse program at next Writers Series

Next up at the GVSU Writers series is a diverse program by Caroline Maun, an associate professor of English at Wayne State University.

A craft talk, reading from her works, and a musical performance will be include in the program, Monday, February 24, from 6-9 p.m. at Grand Valley’s University Club, DeVos Center, 401 West Fulton, Pew Grand Rapids Campus.

Maun is the author of two volumes of poetry, “The Sleeping” and “What Remains;” two poetry chapbooks, “Cures and Poisons” and “Greatest Hits,” and “Mosaic of Fire: The Work of Lola Ridge, Evelyn Scott, Charlotte Wilder, and Kay Boyle.”

Maun has edited “The Collected Poems of Evelyn Scott.” She is also the co-songwriter of original music for the Detroit-area band Black Hat, whose albums “Phases of the Sun” and “Hooray for Love” were published by Detroit Radio Company.
