Council supports part-time faculty members

The Part-time Faculty Advisory Council is a volunteer group that collaborates closely with the Pew Faculty Teaching and Learning Center and serves in an advisory role to the Provost’s Office.
Council members take a leadership role in establishing advocacy networks on campus and planning professional development events to help part-time faculty achieve teaching excellence.
Dana Munk, director of part-time faculty support, said the
council’s goals for this year include advocating for systematic
performance reviews and exploring potential avenues for the inclusion
of part-time faculty members in department, college, and university
governance committees and initiatives.
