Writing conference set for Saturday

About 120 students and faculty members from writing centers across
Michigan will attend a conference at the Mary Idema Pew Library
Learning and Information Commons.
The Michigan Writing Centers Association Ideas Exchange, with
the theme “Creative Collaborations,” is set for Saturday, October 12.
Patrick Johnson, assistant director of the Meijer Center for
Writing, said six Grand Valley writing consultants and two consultants
from the Knowledge Market will give presentations. Lee Van Orsdel,
dean of University Libraries, will give the keynote address.
