Registration open for statewide leadership summit
Students across the state can register for the 16th annual
Leadership Summit that will take place February 23 at Grand Valley.

The student-run campus tradition will provide leadership
development for undergraduate students in many aspects of student life
and at every level of leadership. Students can choose from more than
30 workshops and enter a leadership case study competition sponsored
by Omicron Delta Kappa.
Workshop topics include Leadership Development, Sports
Leadership, Civic Engagement, Personal and Professional Development,
Social Justice, and Communication and Media.

Donna Lopiano, an equal rights pioneer and leader in the world
of sports and higher education, will give the keynote address. A
former CEO of the Women’s Sport Foundation, Lopiano was named one of
“The 10 Most Powerful Women in Sports.” Lopiano will also speak at the
Celebration
of Women in Sport and Physical Activity February 23.
Registration is $20 for Grand Valley students and $30 for
students from other colleges and universities. The summit includes
dinner and a conference gift.
