ODK national director to discuss bullying Thursday

Tara Singer, executive director of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society, will give a presentation at Grand Valley September 26.

Her presentation, “The Bully Pulpit,” will address how leaders respond to bullying, whether it’s in the classroom or boardroom. It will take place at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Mary Idema Pew Library.

The event, hosted by Student Life’s Laker Leadership Programs, is open to the campus community.

ODK is present on nearly 300 campuses throughout the U.S. The ODK circle at Grand Valley is the top-performing circle nationally and Michelle Burke, director of Student Life, serves as national vice president of the organization. Grand Valley’s circle is accepting fall membership applications through October 25.
