Nomination deadline extended for Celebrating Women Awards ceremony

The deadline to nominate someone for the Celebrating Women Awards
Ceremony has been extended to February 22.
The Women’s Commission, Women’s Center, Women and Gender Studies
and Positive Black Women present awards to outstanding individuals on
campus who have positively impacted the lives of women and girls. The
ceremony is set for March 12, 3 p.m., in the Kirkhof Center, Grand
River Room.
Nominations are sought for the following awards:
• Barbara
Jordan Award, presented by Women and Gender Studies
• Jean Enright
Scholarship, presented by Women and Gender Studies
• Outstanding
Student Award, presented by the Women’s Center
• Maxine Swanson
Award, presented by the Women’s Commission
• Women’s Impact Award,
presented by the Women’s Commission
• Unsung Hero Award, presented
by the Women’s Commission
• PBW Scholarship, presented by Positive
Black Women.
