'I am Grand Valley' kicks off Wednesday

The “I am Grand Valley” student leadership campaign will kick off
October 2 with a celebration in the Kirkhof Center.
The event will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the lobby.
Refreshments will be available and there will be giveaways for
students who share their leadership story. Previous nominees are
encouraged to wear their “I am Grand Valley” T-shirt.
Students, faculty and staff members can nominate students who
display and employ strong leadership skills that affect the campus
community. Nominations are due December 6; the online form is at
www.gvsu.edu/iamgv.
Nominees will be recognized at the “I Am Grand Valley” Leadership
Reception on January 15 during Campus Leadership Week.
The first Wednesday of every month is I am Grand Valley Day, when
students wear their “I am Grand Valley” T-shirt on campus.
