Economist unveils economic findings
Grand Valley State University economics expert Paul Isely will
release the findings of a survey of the regional economy at a
breakfast event January 25. The survey for the greater Grand Rapids
economy (Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, and Allegan counties) was conducted
in November 2012. Isely, chair and professor of economics in Grand
Valley’s Seidman College of Business, will talk about consumer
confidence, employment, sales and export growth.
The event is co-sponsored by Colliers International. KC Conway,
executive managing editor for Colliers, will give an overview of the
real estate forecast, both nationally and for the West Michigan
market. Conway joined Colliers as a national economist and market
analyst in 2010, after five years with the Federal Reserve and 20
years of private industry experience as an appraiser, underwriter,
lender, credit officer and economist.
