Deamud named '40 Under Forty'

Jennifer Deamud, MI-SBTDC associate state director, was selected as one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s 2013 “40 Under Forty” business leaders. She will be featured in a special magazine supplement in the October 15 issue of the Grand Rapids Business Journal and honored at a reception October 16 at the Goei Center in Grand Rapids.

Deamud is responsible for creating and developing communication strategies for the state headquarters and the 11-region network of the Small Business Technology & Development Center, housed in the Seidman College of Business. She is responsible for long-range planning and program development, managing media and event coordination with the governor’s office, and maintaining key statewide relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients and media.

Deamud received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations and a master’s degree in communications from Grand Valley.
