Web workshop available for faculty, staff

Faculty and staff members are invited to a half-day Web workshop on June 21 to learn how to make improvements on departmental websites. The workshop is from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Lake Ontario Hall.

Grand Valley’s Web team will cover a variety of topics including how to build a departmental website, how to use the content management system and more advanced user practices. Register at www.gvsu.edu/seminar, click on “Web Team.”

Due to increased interest in website management and best practices, the Web team is offering more workshops for the campus community. A full day Web workshop will be offered this fall that will cover more topics and feature guest speakers.

Faculty and staff members can take a survey to share their interests in topics covered at the workshop.
