Grand Valley will host the second annual Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Take Steps Walk, May 19, on the Allendale Campus.

Organized by the Crohn’s and Colitis Student Initiative at Grand Valley, the event will raise money to help treat individuals with the digestive diseases and will go toward patient care, education and research. Last year, the inaugural walk was among the top 10 in the country for funds raised and number of walkers; about 310 people raised more than $54,000.
