President Haas visits Children's Enrichment Center

President Haas visited with children and their parents at the Children’s Enrichment Center at Grand Valley on February 20. 

Sharalle Arnold, director of CEC, organizes a visit for President Haas every year on Presidents’ Day. “It’s a great way for him to say hello to the children and to some of the parents who are students at Grand Valley,” she said.

Arnold said this year the center will hold several fundraisers to support the recently established Student Parent Endowment Fund, which was created to provide student families with scholarships for child care. More information about the fund is online here.
