Photos: Leaping for Leap Day

Members of the Grand Valley State University running club held an impromptu fundraiser on campus in honor of Leap Day, February 29.
They called the event "Leap for Leap Day" and challenged students to leap as far as they could for a $1 donation to the club.
The best leap for mens and womens split half of the proceeds.
GV Now photographer Elizabeth Lienau stopped to get a couple shots of the leapers in action.
